Mahabalipuram-Pondicherry-Chennai

Tour Overview

Arrive in Chennai and visit the historic Mahabalipuram before traveling to Pondicherry. Spend the next days exploring the spiritual township of Auroville, the ancient temple town of Chidambaram, and the charming French Quarter and beaches of Pondicherry. On the final day, return to Chennai for your departure.      

Day 1: Arrival at Chennai – Mahabalipuram - Pondicherry (145 KMS – 3.5 Hrs)

Arrival Meet & Greet at airport & drive to Mahabalipuram. Visit the Shore Temple, Arjuna's Penance, and the Five Rathas. Explore Krishna’s Butter Ball and the Varaha Cave Temple. Lunch at 1400 Hrs (at own). Drive towards Pondicherry. Overnight stay at hotel in Pondicherry.

Day 2: Pondicherry – Auroville - Pondicherry

Breakfast. At 0800 hours, then local excursion to -Auroville, Sri Aurobindo Ashram. Lunch at 1400(at own) & continue tour: Explore the French War Memorial, colonial architecture and the Pondicherry Museum. Overnight stay at Hotel.

Day 3: Pondicherry – Chidambaram – Pondicherry

Breakfast at 0800 hours.Later drive to – Chidambaram Nataraja Temple. Later visit Thillai kali amman temple. Drive back to Pondicherry. Overnight stay at Hotel

Day 4: Pondicherry

Breakfast will be served at 8:00 AM, after which you have a full day at leisure to unwind. Spend your day relaxing at the scenic Promenade Beach, soaking in the sea breeze and beautiful views. Return to the hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Pondicherry – Chennai departure (166 KMS – 4 Hrs)

Breakfast at 0800 Hrs. After Breakfast, check out from Hotel. Drop at Chennai airport to board your flight.
