When Sudama arrived at Krishna’s palace in Dwarka, he was welcomed with open arms. Krishna washed his friend’s feet, embraced him with joy, and treated him like royalty, despite Sudama’s modest appearance. Overwhelmed by Krishna's warmth, Sudama could not even bring himself to ask for anything.

But Krishna, being all-knowing, understood everything without words. After Sudama returned home, he found his humble hut transformed into a palace, and his family free from poverty. This act of silent generosity made their bond immortal in Indian culture and scriptures.
