Religious Significance
Bet Dwarka is believed to be the original residential place of Lord Krishna, where he lived with his family. The name “Bet” means “gift”, and the place is said to have been gifted to Krishna by his devotee Sudama.
The main temple on the island is Shrine of Lord Krishna, often associated with Dwarakadheesh form of Krishna. The temple is over 500 years old and was believed to be built by Vallabhacharya.

2. Hanuman Dandi Temple - Dedicated to Hanuman and his son Makardhwaja. One of the few temples with Makardhwaja as the deity.
3. Rukmini Temple - A small temple for Rukmini Devi, Krishna’s consort. Peaceful and located near the beach.
4. Gufa Mandir (Cave Temple) - Underground shrine said to be the meditative place of Lord Krishna.
